Enviro 2016

Estão abertas as inscrições para o ENVIRO 2016, que será realizado entre 17 e 18 de novembro de 2016, pelo Laboratório Nacional de Luz Síncroton (LNLS/CNPEM), em Campinas, SP. As inscrições devem ser feitas até 30 de outubro.

O ENVIRO 2016 será composto por oficinas que cobrirão temais atuais sobre assuntos emergentes em ciências agri-ambientais, em que o uso de técnicas baseadas em luz síncrotron tenha sido relevante. O evento ocorrerá em dois dias e destina-se a um público multidisciplinar, interessado em Ciências da rizosfera e biofortificação de cultivos alimentares básicos (no primeiro dia); e Química do ar e da água, no segundo dia.

O objetivo desta edição do ENVIRO é estimular a comunidade emergente de cientistas agri-ambientais que atualmente utilizam o LNLS, além de estimular novos usuários a conduzirem seus trabalhos de pesquisa com o uso das instalações do Laboratório. Assim, os participantes poderão aprender sobre as aplicações das técnicas baseadas em luz síncrotron disponíveis no LNLS, por meio de trabalhos de pesquisa apresentado por palestrantes renomados.

Registrations are now open for the ENVIRO 2016, which will take place from November 17^th to 18^th, 2016, at the Brazilian Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS/CNPEM), in Campinas, SP. The deadline for registrations is October 30^th.

The ENVIRO 2016 is putting on workshops that will cover present-day topics on emerging themes on agri-environmental sciences, where synchrotron radiation has found groove. It will be held in two days and devoted to a multidisciplinary audience, interested in themes related to Rhizosphere Sciences andBiofortification of Staple Food Crops (during the 1st day), and to Air and Water Chemistry (during the second day).

The objective of ENVIRO 2016 is to nourish the emerging community of agri-environmental scientists currently using our laboratory and to attract new comers to pursue their research work making use of the laboratory facilities. The participants will learn more about the applications of the synchrotron-based techniques available at the lab through the research work showcased by renowned lecturers.
